It’s been a long time when Google has given Android OS a fresh look. At the Google’s I/O event held in San Francisco lately, Android’s Chief Sundar and Matias have unveiled the next Android OS called “Android L” known as “L Preview”. The Android L Preview is basically based upon the design idea of Material Design – the notion that pixels and interface elements respond to your touch in spontaneous way.
Android L is going to have a new radical design; however, 5000 new APIs will be presented for developer preview very soon.=
Android L release date is what we all needed to know. It’s suggested that the new Android L will be available from 26 June to developers. For Android users, the new Android OS will come this fall. It means that the new OS is much more a preview at the moment to get started with its development.
At this point, no one knows whether the new OS is Android 5 or Android 4.5 and which dessert name it’ll get… we’re sure we’ll hear more afterward. According to HTC’s Director, “We’re so excited about this new Android L and we just can’t wait to share new update with our customers. We’re committed to give our customers new update as soon as possible. We’ll start rolling out new update to the HTC One M8 and HTC One M7 within 90 days after receiving final version from Google.”
The new Android L OS will come with overhauled notifications, depth animations, better camera controls, quick task switching, faster apps, new tools for web-based apps, improved battery efficiency, smart network and improved Bluetooth.
With all these improvements we’re assuming that the new Android L is going to be workable on high-end devices. We’ll let you guys know when we’ll get more info. Happy Viewing
